Management's Letter
This is the Final Letter Received from our President, Jeff Kantor and Chairman John Harper.

Dear Associates:

You will see on the following pages things worth remembering.  There are stories of how Hecht's / Strawbridge's came to be, our traditions, past events and snapshots of some of the people that nurtured this company for over a century with profitability and success.

Although no publication would have enough pages for all the memories Hecht's / Strawbridge's has given us and our communities, as associates, we should all be able to find some part of ourselves in the words and pictures.

Although it is only a glimpse into our past, it is a past some of us will cherish long after our association with Hecht's / Strawbridge's
has come to an end.  We can look back with pride that during this time of transition our organization showed its talent, versatility and determination to continue to deliver the great results that have been our tradition.

We thank every associate for making Hecht's / Strawbridge's what we are today.  Whatever road you are about to travel down, we wish you sucess, happiness and the best life has to offer!!

THANK YOU ALL,

Jeff Kantor
John Harper
